Do we really read our Bible and understand it well? Have we read enough and studied the Scriptures enough to grasp the background and etc? Do we misquote passages to justify what we do? For example, Asaph in the Bible was a musician, David used the harp, does that therefore mean we can use musical instruments during worship? Is it an extrapolation of the Scriptures or is that really what the Bible wishes us to do? And can we easily say that many things fall under the category of what we think is meant by Christian liberty? For example, running on Sundays, is that honouring God and is that keeping the Sabbath day on Sunday holy and reserved for God? Some say it does not matter, that they can still honour God by running. Some say that "I can run and then come for evening service". Some say however, that no, it's not a proper way to keep the Sabbath. Others question if people who run on the Sabbath are questioning what the church says openly or whether they may inevitably anger or stumble others. What really is the way God wants us to worship Him?
